How do you register a Lasting Power of Attorney?

To be used a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) must be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian.
Form LPA001: Notice of Intention to Apply for Registration of a Lasting Power of Attorney and Form LPA002: Application to Register a Lasting Power of Attorney are the required documents for registering an LPA.
LPA001 is the form used to notify the individuals named in the LPA of your intention to register the LPA.
Form LPA002 is the form used to apply for registration and must be sent to the Office of the Public Guardian.
